Dr. Cory Acker
Dr. Cory Acker has been serving patients in Cathedral City and the Coachella Valley since 1999. As the owner and operator of Acker Chiropractic & Wellness Center, he is dedicated to helping patients improve their mobility, manage pain, and achieve better overall health through personalized chiropractic and wellness care.
Dr. Acker takes a comprehensive approach to treatment, using a variety of therapies tailored to each patient’s needs. His experience includes chiropractic adjustments, physiotherapy, spinal decompression, cold laser therapy, shockwave therapy and massage therapy. Rather than focusing solely on the source of discomfort, Dr. Acker considers the relationship between the spine, muscles, and soft tissues to support recovery and help patients return to the activities they enjoy.
Patient education is an important part of Dr. Acker’s philosophy. In addition to addressing acute and chronic conditions, he helps patients better understand their spinal health and provides guidance on injury prevention, maintenance of a healthy body, nutrition and healthy lifestyle choices.
Dr. Acker earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon, graduating with honors in 1998. During his time in chiropractic college, he was recognized by his professors with the Outstanding Clinician Award for his clinical skills and commitment to patient care.
A longtime member of the Coachella Valley community, Dr. Acker believes strongly in giving back to the community he calls home. He has been involved with local organizations, including the Cathedral City Chamber of Commerce and the Palm Springs Unified School District. With family ties to the Coachella Valley spanning decades, he takes pride in caring for the people and community he has been a part of for so many years.
Breanna Rosales

Breanna Rosales has been an integral part of the Acker Chiropractic & Wellness Center team since 2014. A highly skilled and compassionate massage therapist, Breanna has a deep understanding of the body and how muscles, soft tissues, and movement work together.
Known for her ability to tailor each massage to the individual’s needs, Breanna adjusts the depth and technique of her treatment based on each patient’s needs and preferences. Whether you’re looking for focused therapeutic work or a relaxing massage, she takes the time to understand what your body needs and creates a treatment experience designed specifically for you.
Breanna offers both 60-minute and 120-minute massage sessions, giving patients the flexibility to choose the amount of time that best fits their needs and goals. Born and raised in the Coachella Valley, Breanna has deep roots in the local community and takes pride in caring for the people who call the desert home. Her years of experience, knowledge of the body, and genuine care for her patients make her a valued member of the Acker Chiropractic team.
David Tovar
Office Manager
David Tovar has been an integral part of the Acker Chiropractic & Wellness Center team since 2021. As our Office Manager, David plays an important role in making sure our office runs smoothly while helping patients navigate every step of their care.
David oversees our insurance billing and works closely with patients to help address their administrative and care-related needs. His attention to detail, dedication, and willingness to help make him an invaluable part of our team.
In addition to his office management responsibilities, David has received specialized training in shockwave therapy and assists with shockwave treatments in our office. His knowledge of the therapy and commitment to patient comfort help ensure that each treatment is delivered with care and attention.
Above all, David is known for his compassion and genuine connection with our patients. He takes the time to get to know the people we serve and has developed wonderful relationships with many of our patients over the years. His friendly approach and dedication to providing a positive patient experience makes David a trusted and valued member of the Acker Chiropractic family.
